Sigal Chameides

Singer, songwriter, actress, producer, musicologist and vocal coach. Sigal Chameides was born and raised in Milan, where she trains in classical piano (Vicky Shatzinger, Emilio Suvini, Beatrice Orlandi) and modern singing (Cluster School of Music and privately with Andrea Tosoni). She moves to Jerusalem, Israel, and is admitted into the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where she trains vocals with Hagit Godlberg. She graduates in 2016 (B.Mus in multidisciplinary singing) and is admitted into the Research Master Degree program at the Musicology and Cognition faculty of the Hebrew University. Her research focuses on Music Performance Anxiety and she develops a method to face the issue that she uses with her own students.
Sigal teaches to a yearly average of 40 students, both privately and in two different high school (the Jerusalem Goldstein Youth Center and the Anglican International School of Jerusalem). She works ad singers and actress in the cast of the Buenos Ensemble, amd is assistant to production for the Opera Studio of Jerusalem. She performs in Israel and Italy with original material and world music covers. In 2021 she released her latest album "Ardente Pazienza".
